Federal News Radio Highlights Progress in Disability Hiring
Federal News Radio recently ran a segment on progress in federal disability hiring. Speaking to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s Special Adviser on Disability Programs Michael Murray, the interview explored steps taken to achieve the goals of Executive Order 13548, which was signed by President Obama in 2010, and efforts to sustain the momentum following its expiration this year. “It’s a matter of a lot of things: education, having good matches for the jobs from the very beginning, having reasonable accommodations in place,” Murray said.
