In August, EARN participated in the Federal Dispute Resolution conference in Orlando, FL, where it exhibited as well as joined representatives from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Job Accommodation Network to present a pre-conference workshop on “Disability Inclusion and Reasonable Accommodations at Work.” As part of this, EARN Consultant Derek Shields discussed the Inclusion@Work policy framework in the context of federal employment and encouraged attendees to join the Federal Exchange on Employment and Disability, which EARN manages in collaboration with the Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Office of Personnel Management and EEOC.
