EEOC Issues Enforcement Guidance

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued updated guidance and a Q&A document on employer use of arrest and conviction records on April 25th.  The new guidance discusses the impact of employer use of an individual’s criminal history, federal court decisions analyzing Title VII as applied to criminal record exclusions, best practices for employers, and more.
