EEOC Issues Guidance on Hiring Standards

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued an informal discussion letter last November about how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to high school diploma requirements and qualification standards for jobs.  Based on comments about the meaning and scope of the letter, the EEOC posted questions and answers to clarify these issues.  For a summary published recently in the Human Resources Journal, click here.
