Survey Shows How Employers Hire, RecruitA recent survey of nearly 700 human resource managers explored organizational practices related to finding and hiring qualified employees with disabilities. The survey findings showed that nearly half of respondents said their organization actively recruits people with disabilities and 57 percent say they work with community organizations that promote the employment of people with disabilities. The survey was developed as part of a collaboration between Cornell University, Employment and Disability Institute, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
