This checklist reviews the 4 A's of a mental health-friendly workplace.
“Poor mental health days” account for a significant and growing percentage of work absences, affecting productivity, the economy and employee wellbeing. EARN has distilled leading mental wellness practices into four pillars, also known as the “4 A's”: Awareness, Accommodations, Assistance and Access. Although this checklist is not exhaustive, it includes strategies that can help employers create and implement policies, programs and practices that lead to greater mental wellness at work.
